Hi everybody, I’m Scott Milford. Right now, you’re looking at my new blog – Quitting Sugar. It’s still under construction. Soon, I’ll tell you what perfect-storm of events happened that prompted me to start this blog. It’s pretty crazy to me because recently I’ve had to change almost everything I thought I knew about eating a healthy diet. Added to that, the “truth” about sugar has also been revealed to me. I was so impacted by what I learned that I’ve decided to try to give up my greatest addiction…sugar.
This blog will be my public journal. As of right now, I haven’t changed my diet. First, I’m planning a visit to my doctor and possibly a nutritionist, mainly to clearly establish my current state of health so I can track my progress. So even though I’m still consuming sugar and eating as I usually do, this blog is where I’ll share all of my plans, my successes, and my failures. I’m a bit scared because I know that battling addiction of any kind is extremely difficult. But I’m highly motivated to do this right now, and I can’t wait to see what the affect is on my health.
Anyway, bare with me as I tweak this blog and get it set up the way I want it to be. Expect it to change a lot. I hope this journal will help you if you’re thinking about kicking sugar too, or give you some ideas for better health and your diet. Thanks for stopping by.
